2008 birthday part 1

birthday dinner at mamati’s house velez cagayan de oro city mindanao philippines milky way universe. less food than the previous cdo birthday but no less exciting. and with more photos! this SAME SET of photos appears on multiply for the 4th time (1st time was by cuzin may, 2nd time by cuzin pating, 3rd time byu cuzin ej). but that doesnt stop me from posting it yet again hehehe cheers to you all! thanks for a great year and a great time!

update: so there’s no more link because multiply is no more. lol it’s 2018.

MANILA, Philippines – Actor Piolo Pascual has started work on his third indie movie, “Manila,” a twin bill directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. and Raya Martin.

“Manila” is a tribute to Lino Brocka and Ishmael Bernal. Piolo is also co-producer. Joining him in the cast are Rosanna Roces, Mitch Valdes, Jodi Sta. Maria, Jay Manalo, Anita Linda and Alessandra de Rossi. -end quote-



— manila is a film with two stories, the first half of the film is based on jaguar and the other half, by manila by night (or city after dark). jaguar is by lino brocka and ishmael bernal directed manila by night in 1980.

getting better

im back to wherever i was, only better. im grateful to be working these past few weeks. busy bee, but i am loving it. finally working on solo projects as production designer! yey! trying my best to keep giving my all. i cant gamble away this opportunity by getting lazy or being uptight about things. keeping positive is the key. and it’s time to pay it forward 😀  a behind-the-scenes photo of me prepping up piolo pascual got printed on the clear black valentine inserts in yes magazine. finally got a 19-inch widescreen LCD and a video card to go with that. i feel like a new man! haha also my dad’s medication has worked for him and he called yesterday that his cancer cell count has gone down and his prostate has reduced its size to 50%. cheers and more here next week. shift. originally enrolled at the college of home economics (what?) before shifting to architecture before shifting and finishing in fine arts.

5. Saan ka kumuha ng UPCAT?
mindanao polytechnic state university, formerly dmpsc, in mindanao. took the test with about 70% of my classmates. only 3 eventually enrolled in UP, and me being the only one in the diliman campus.

6. Favorite GE subject?
hmm. that science course with prof ranjit rye or something. i dont remember the course, i remember his manner of lecturing. i thought he was pretty good

7. Favorite PE?
1st PE, skin diving. for the finals we headed to batangas to swim in the ocean. coolness

umm… University Council. LFS. anak bayan (meron ba sa UP?). la liga filipina (panahon pa to ni luna at rizal ah). up babaylan (ya right)

of course. the nearest i got to losing that was a 5.0 grade in math 11. and the nearest i got to getting a nod was a US (univ scholar) in fine arts. astig !

wala naman. i didnt have to-die-for crushes haha

30. Kung di ka UP, anong school ka?
xavier university cagayan de oro. or cagayan de oro college (formerly COC, now CU) because it was the only school in cdo offering architecture back in 1995. i could have gone to cebu but that wasnt exactly the plan then. shet what could have happened if my lolo didnt drag me on the negros navigation to manila? hmmm..
